SHIPPING POLICY

SoaringUSA includes standard UPS Ground or FedEx Ground shipping costs within the Continental United States (ConUS) as part of our Secure shopping cart payment process. If you are not in the US, or require Overnight Delivery service, additional shipping charges may apply. Current rates are as follows:

 

Orders totaling:

$1.00 - $99.98     = $8

$99.99 - $175.00  = $15

$175.01 - $450.00  = $30

$450.01 - $600.00   = $40

$600.01 - $1000.00= $45

Over  $1000.00    = $55

These low rates cover all US deliveries via Ground shipment and allow Soaring USA to custom package each order and  fully insure each item to it's purchase value. Please e-mail us for a shipping quote on international deliveries.


RETURN POLICY

Inspect your shipment thoroughly upon receipt. Keep original sales invoice.

Soaring USA offers a 10-day return period on stock merchandise. Within 24 hours of receipt of merchandise, e-mail Soaring USA and verify the item is in new, original condition. A Return Authorization Code Number from Soaring USA will be assigned to you. The RA code will be valid for up to 10 days.There will be a 15% restocking fee on any returns, and there are NO returns on custom orders.

It is very important that all items, including literature, parts and a copy of your invoice be included in your securely re-wrapped shipment to avoid any damage. Insure the shipment for full value against loss or damage. Items received by SoaringUSA that are damaged, and not insured, will not be eligible for refund.

Upon receipt and verification that the returned merchandise is in new, original condition, SoaringUSA will issue a credit memo will be issued. Refunds are made by written request only, please include your original payment information.

Allowances for returns after the 10-day period will be made at the discretion of Soaring USA.

DAMAGED SHIPMENT POLICY

Do not accept a package that is visibly damaged. Open the package in the carrier?fs presence. If contents are damaged, refuse to accept the item from the Carrier. Notify Soaring USA immediately. Do not discard anything and keep all items intact. We will begin claim proceedings and give you instructions on what steps to take. If the damaged package/item is left at your door, do not open it. Take the damaged package to your local Carriers office and open it in their presence. Replacement merchandise will be shipped by Soaring USA upon receipt of claim proceeds.

SAFETY POLICY

Many of our products have the ability to cause great harm and/or physical damage if used incorrectly. Incorrect use includes improper installation/construction/assembly of our products, improper flying or use of our products, and operating our products in violation of the established safety policies of the Amateur Modeler Aircraft organization (www.modelaircraft.org )
Dynamic Soaring is an inherently dangerous activity. The process of DS'ing accelerates your aircraft very rapidly and often violently. It requires total concentration, skill, practice, and optimal conditions (including slope sites and weather) to perform. DS'ing should always be practiced with the utmost care and consideration of safety, both your own and that of other people in the vicinity.
Always safety check your aircraft and radio gear for proper operation and freshly charged batteries prior to launching.
SoaringUSA accepts no responsibility for the use of our products or if you screw it up during construction. Always obey AMA rules and safety guidelines.

PRIVACY POLICY

COLLECTED INFORMATION

We collect financial and personal information to the extent necessary to process product orders. This information is only used to conduct the fulfillment of the visitor's order and is not shared with outside entities except as needed to fulfill the customer's payment obligation.

Upon request we provide site visitors with access to contact information that we maintain about them and a description of any other information that we maintain about them. Consumers can review this information by submitting a written request to our address below.

USAGE OF INFORMATION

If you supply us with your postal address you will be added to our customer database. This database is used to maintain ready reference to customer data for the purposes of fulfilling future orders. This information may be used by SoaringUSA in the future for the purposes of mailing updated product information to potential consumers. Visitors who supply us with their telephone numbers online will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders they have placed or to provide information specifically requested by you. Your name and address information are provided to our credit card processing provider for the purposes of fraud prevention and verification of card ownership. Your telephone number is never shared with entities outside of SoaringUSA.


CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to our web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our web site periodically.


THIRD PARTY PROVIDERS

We use third party providers for various services. While we try to select companies with fair privacy policies, we cannot be responsible for their actions. It is suggested you read the privacy policy of each provider if you have any concerns.


VIOLATIONS OF THIS POLICY

Please contact us for clarification if you feel this site is not following its stated privacy policy. We will investigate all alleged violations and take corrective action when necessary to rectify the situation and prevent further recurrence.
